Does the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN host wedding ceremonies
on-site?
Yes! We offer spacious banquet rooms as well as several
beautiful outdoor areas to hold your ceremony. 
2. Do
I have to be a guest of the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN
to get married there?
You do not have to be a guest staying at our resort. However,
it is more convenient and less stressful for the bride to be
in one location on the wedding day.

3. Where is the resort located relative to the Walt Disney
World® Theme Parks?
We are conveniently located in the Epcot®
Resorts area neighboring Epcot®
and Disney's Hollywood Studios™ and within minutes from Magic
Kingdom® Park and Disney's
Animal Kingdom®
Theme Park .

4. What type of weddings can be held at the WALT DISNEY
WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN?
A. WEDDING CEREMONY
This is an intimate
wedding (with or without guests), held in either held in either the Swan’s West Courtyard or the lovely Crescent Terrace, overlooking the waterway and Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. The format can vary from
a simple exchange of vows, to the more elaborate, including
musicians, floral arrangements, cake and champagne service.
(These are the only food items served in the courtyards).
B. WEDDING CEREMONY WITH RECEPTION
This type of wedding includes the ceremony with a reception
immediately following. There is no limit on the number of
guests. The festivities include a 30 to 60 minute cocktail
reception, followed by a 3-4 hour lunch/dinner reception.
Plated meals, as well as heavy hors d' oeuvres are available.
One of our Catering Managers will assist you with selecting
from our a la carte banquet menus or Reception Packages.
C. WEDDING RECEPTION
This is ideal for a couple interested in holding their ceremony at another location, with a reception at the WALT DISNEY
WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN. Generally,
wedding receptions are for 50 people or more. Although our
ballroom can accommodate more than 1,000 people for a
wedding, 100-200 people is the average. These events typically consist of a one-hour cocktail reception with hors d’ oeuvres, followed by a four-hour reception, featuring dinner, wedding festivities and cake. There is no charge for the ballroom,
hotel linen, china/silver, dance floor or staging.

5. What type of wedding ceremony packages does the WALT DISNEY
WORLD SWAN and DOLPHIN offer?
We have two different types of packages catering to your specific needs, as well as the proposed size of your function.
A. STANDARD PACKAGE
THE INTIMATE WEDDING
Created exclusively for small, intimate weddings with your closest family and friends, this package includes all of the features and services to make your ceremony complete:
- A wedding coordinator to assist you with your needs on
your special day
- Ceremony hosted in the resort's West Courtyard or Crescent
Terrace (includes seating for guests)
- Brass bridal arch
decorated with fresh flowers
- Ceremony performed by a non-denominational minister or
notary, (Rabbi available for an additional charge)
- One bottle of champagne (serves 6 people)
- A two-tier decorated wedding cake
- Bridal bouquet
(choose from white or soft colored flowers)
- Groom's boutonniere
- Ceremony musician (choice of harpist, violinist, guitarist, flautist
or keyboardist, etc.)
B. DELUXE PACKAGE
THE INTIMATE WEDDING
This includes all of the items and services of the standard
package, plus additional items to make your wedding day stress-free and picture- perfect:
- Wedding coordinator to assist with your needs on your
special day
- Ceremony hosted in the resort's West Courtyard or Crescent
Terrace (includes seating for guests)
- Brass or lattice arch, adorned with beautiful, fresh flowers
- Ceremony performed by a non-denominational minister or
notary (Rabbi available for additional charge)
- Chilled champagne toast (up to 6 people)
- A two-tier decorated wedding cake
- Lavish bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere
- Ceremony musician (choice of harpist, violinist, guitarist, flautist or keyboardist.)
- Keepsake wedding certificate
- Photography package including:
- Up to 2 hours of ceremony coverage
- 24 Wedding day photos in an 8x10 album
- Videography package including:
- Up to 1 hour of ceremony coverage
- In-studio editing
- One VHS copy of wedding ceremony
- Bride's Day of Beauty, which includes hairstyling, makeup and a manicure
- On-site tuxedo rental for the groom
- Gown steaming services
- Deluxe “Sweet Dreams” package to include:
- One night's stay in our elegantly appointed guest
rooms
- Keepsake bottle of Swan and Dolphin champagne
- Gourmet chocolate covered strawberries
- Honeymoon gift basket
- Evening bed turndown service

6. What type of wedding reception packages does the WALT
DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN offer?
We have a variety of Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Reception, and Morning

7. What type of wedding cake selections do you offer?
A two-tier decorated wedding cake is included all with all Intimate Wedding packages, however, our chef can also work with the bride and groom to create a more customized wedding cake. (Additional charges apply). Please ask your Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin wedding specialist for more information.

8. What additional options are available to enhance a
wedding or reception package?
- Upgraded florals (i.e. corsages, boutonnieres, bouquets,
reception centerpieces, floral altar arrangements, etc.)
- Tuxedo and gown rental
- Hair and makeup stylist
- Disney character(s) (i.e. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse,

9. Is
there a fee for parking at the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND
DOLPHIN?
Yes.

10. How much advance notice is needed for booking a wedding
ceremony or reception at the WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN AND DOLPHIN?
We recommend:
Intimate Weddings - 72 hours minimum
Receptions - Two months minimum
We are capable of handling last-minute requests, subject to
space availability.

11. What is the best time of day for a ceremony?
The best time of day to hold a ceremony is early to mid-morning
and late afternoon to sunset. However, we will be happy to accommodate
any time preference (based on availability).

12. Will there be an area to get dressed on the day of the
wedding? Is there a charge?
We strive to provide our brides and grooms with two complimentary rooms for on-site weddings, based on availability. These rooms are usually hospitality suites which include a full-length mirror and private bathroom.

13. What if it rains?
For all outdoor ceremonies, we secure a backup banquet room
inside the resort to accommodate your wedding party and guests.

14. Is a deposit required?
Yes. Once the contract is signed, a 25% non-refundable deposit
on the estimated costs of your event is due. Full payment must
be paid 30 days prior to your event.

15. Are there honeymoon packages?
Honeymoon packages can be booked directly through our reservations
department by calling 1-888-828-8850.

16. Are there discounted room rates for members of the wedding
party and guests if they want to stay at the WALT DISNEY WORLD
SWAN AND DOLPHIN?
Yes. However, room rates will depend on availability, as well
as seasonality. Room blocks and special
rates can be arranged for 10 guest rooms or more.

17. Are tickets to the Walt Disney World®
Theme Parks included?
No. Tickets and discounts for admission to any of the Walt Disney World®
Theme Parks and attractions are not included in the wedding
packages.

18. Do I need a marriage license?
Yes. Florida law dictates the conditions for marriage license
issuance and the fees. The Clerk of Courts provides an information
sheet to help you understand the requirements of the law and
to answer questions which are frequently asked.

19. Do I have to be a resident of Florida to apply for a
marriage license?
No.

20. Are there any application fees for the marriage license?
Payment in the form of cash or money order is required at the
time application is made (personal checks are not accepted.)
No further fees are due once the license is issued. A driver's
license or birth certificate must be presented at time of application.

21. Where can we apply for our marriage license?
The Clerk of Courts provides four locations within Orange County
for the issuance of marriage licenses.
