The
new look for the Garden Grove is a small scale version of
Central Park bringing the outdoors to the inside of the
rotunda, land marked by a beautiful 25 foot oak tree growing
from the center platform sparkling with twinkle lights and
paper lanterns.
The carpet is a meandering pebbled path surrounded by a
grassy green that connects the points of entry onto a raised
platform. The buffet area is crowned by wooden pergolas
accented by colorful pendant lights that create a visual
centerpiece to the food display. The center cooking station
is the jewel piece surrounded by a beautiful glass mosaic
painting filled with bright flowers and a lit sign above.
The area is enveloped with rich earth tones in yellows,
plums, and greens, with accents in rust colors. Antique
bronze metals and rich brown granite tops add to the park
ambiance. The tables and chairs are made from wood in a
walnut color to add warmth to the space while the banquettes
look like modern flower gardens with the bright patterns.
Baskets of bougainvillea also hang from the upper ring above
the columns while azalea bushes accent the reception area,
adding to the garden feel.
