Each day one of the four Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to an extra two hours after regular closing for you to enjoy select attractions. (Valid Theme Park ticket and Swan and Dolphin ID required for each adult).
This is a special benefit you receive as our guest! Lines for the most popular attractions are drastically shorter allowing you to enjoy more of your favorite rides!
Purchase your Park Tickets in Advance
It is not unusual to find long lines at the entrance to the parks as many people have not purchased their tickets in advance. As our guest, you can purchase your tickets in the hotel lobbies or online here before you head out in the morning.
Take Advantage of the Complimentary Disney Transportation
Even if you have a car at your disposal, it is much faster and much more convenient to use Disney's complimentary scheduled transportation available to our guests. Take a leisurely cruise on Disney’s Friendship Boat Launch to Epcot® and Disney's Hollywood Studios™ or take a Disney shuttle bus to all other areas, resorts and Disney resorts Theme Park attractions within the Walt Disney World® Resort. The buses and Friendship launch start running one hour prior to the parks opening each morning and arrive at our hotel approximately every 20 – 25 minutes so you can come and go as you please with very little wait time. The water taxis and buses transport guests right to the entrance of the Disney Theme Parks. No additional shuttles are required and no walking through massive parking lots.
Use Disney's FASTPASS
Disney's FASTPASS is available for all ticketed park guests on select popular rides. If you encounter a ride with a long estimated wait time, simply find the FASTPASS kiosk near the ride, insert your park ticket, and it will print out a receipt with a time for you to return. When you return, you may walk in the shorter line with little or no waiting! Be sure to read the bottom of your FASTPASS to see the time you can get your next one, it's often sooner than you think! (Note: if the stand-by line is 20 minutes or less, it is better to just wait in line.)
Make Dining Reservations in Advance
All of the Disney park restaurants as well as resort restaurants can often fill up quickly and have a long wait time if you do not have a reservation. Having a reserved seating time will save you a lot more time for fun in the parks! Disney dining reservations open 180 days in advance, so be sure to mark your calendar for special seatings you require. Call 407-WDW-DINE to book.
Take a Mid-Day Break
Take a break in the afternoon, especially if you are planning to enjoy the extended Extra Magic Hours in the evening. Mid-day is often extremely crowded in the parks and it's a good time to get out of the crowd and spend a couple hours relaxing back at your hotel. You can return to the park in the late afternoon or evening and be able to more fully enjoy the Rides and attractions exclusively for guests with Extra Magic Hours benefit.
